Diompillor New England launches membership drive

Providence, May 2, 2005 - Diompillor New England is launching a major outreach and recruitment campaign as of May 3, 2005. According to President Anthony Tamba, "there are so many of our brothers and sisters who have come to join us recently. We need to reach out to them." He added "there are some who for varying reasons are no longer active with us, we also need to reach out to them." Addressing the meeting on Sunday, which was held at the home of the National treasurer, Mrs. Josephine Davis, President Tamba challenge his members to double the chapter's membership.
On another note, the president also thanks all members of Diompillor, both national and local for their recent contributions made towards the funeral expenses of the Late Wilmot Tamba N'Tow, brother of the national Secretary, Mr. Saah Charles N'Tow. Speaking briefly, the Chairman of the National Board of Directors added his words of praise for the membership and also assured Mr. N'Tow that the organization will always stand by its members in times of needs. "This is what the organization is here for", he concluded. He used the occasion to encourage active participation from all members across the country.
